Gabe Udell

I am a math PhD student at Cornell University advised by Allen Knutson.

My research interests lie primarily in algebraic combinatorics. I like pipe dreams (classic, bumpless, and hybrid), brick polytopes/varieties, the permutohedron and associahedron, parking functions, generating functions, Gröbner degenerations, Schubert varieties, toric varieties, DKK lattices, and vector partition functions. I also find myself interested in fractals and pedagogy.

Before coming to Cornell I was an undergraduate at Pomona College where I worked with Stephan Ramon Garcia.

My last name is pronounced "yoo-DELL."

I am on the job market this year for a post-doc position.
